Views of the Rio Grande River Valley & Jemez Mountain range from the deck of the casita are breathtaking. Relax and unwind at this magical destination. This small cabin (casita) is located in a very remote area of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range at 8000 elevation. We encounter field mice, rats, moles, chipmunks, squirrels, skunk, raccoons, bobcat, coyote, deer and elk, mountain lion and bears. We have seen all of these animals near and around our homes. We do contract with a local pest control company to help us mitigate the rodents and they conduct monthly checkups and bait the exterior and interior boxes.
